We can find intuition revealed in myriad ways from the promptings of our intuition, conscience or something either within us or outside offering guidance in our lives. Even dreams, visions and promptings of the soul can be a guide. Higher guidance is available so long as we “listen” to it. With an openness, we can find what we seek as our purpose in life.

when a person thinks negativly not only do they harm themselves by the imagry, but to those who believe in the collective consciousness (like myself) they are projecting negative energy across all of life. like a rimple from a rock in water, these vibrations are felts all over and effect all. Therefore, by thinking higher and for better we are not only elevating our own being but those of the collective.

This is very good topic. Is then higher guidance like how you say intuition, no? I believe intuition very important in life. It gives you confidence. Do you both believe in past lives? Does our intuition come from there? Or where it comes from?

many eastern faiths say that that higher thinking is achieved through meditation (albeit this can be done also in many forms i.e. yoga, chanting, praying) and living the truthfull life (there is a famous quote by Guru Nanak ” Truth is high, higher still is truthfull living).The question then is what is truth? and whos to follow? typically it seen as the humanistic urges or ego/pride/attachment/lust/fear and failures in someone usually pointing to one of these being left unchecked. Also the quest to find timelessness in time(through meditation) as a means of blocking out inhibiters is another way of connecting, but its very hard to do in our current busy body lives.

Yes, we both believe in past lives. I think that I’ve had many, many past lives.
Intuition is so very, very important…without it we are depending only on the finite mind which has limitted abilities. Yes, some aspects of intuition may have their source in wisdom from our past lives, perhaps going beyond our 5 senses and using our 6th sense, and also higher guidance perhaps from angels and the eternal Divine one.

There is truth and then there is Truth…ultimately wouldn’t it be wonderful to manifest the Truth in the truth of our day to day lives more completely. Yes, I agree with you that through stillness of the mind we can perceive Truth.
