Nearer to us than
Our hands and feet
Nearer to us than
Our own breath
Not to be found
In temples, mountain caves
Or forest fastnesses
Not hiding somewhere
Beyond the horizon,
Such joy on realizing
The Divine Melody
In our own heart,
Loving Grace of the One
That can connect our consciousness
With the Immanent Power
And take us to the place
Where the Divine Melody descends

Wonderful! Deborah I am really loving your Mystical Poetry. Your poetic voice is soft, yet clear.
Hazel.
Hazel,
It’s a joy to hear that you appreciate “Divine Melody”…and for those who can read the poem with ’spiritual eyes’ and listen to the poem with ’spiritual ears’ then yes, the poem would be experienced as being written in a poetic voice that is soft and clear…
Abundant Blessings,
Deborah
