To forgive another for any wrong treatment or abuse is imperative. No matter how slight or how deep that wound is, forgiveness is the only power capable of fully healing. Forgiveness is a miracle in every sense of the word.

The act of forgiving cannot be forced, it will only fully manifest when it comes from the heart, from deep within one’s very being. When I have said the words aloud and felt them welling up and spilling out like a dam breaking, I have experienced the freedom and peace that follows. In some instances, it did not even require that the other person knew they were forgiven. Some were no longer living in this world.
